NJ Gamer has its own CafePress store where you can get products with the NJ Gamer logo. All proceeds go to bringing you better events. You can find the store at:
There you can find T-Shirts with choice of colors, Jerseys, Sweatshirts, Hoodies all in Men's and Ladies' sizes. There are also gifts and accessories like Mugs, Clocks and Hats. Be sure to choose the right logo when ordering, the logo with NJ in white works best on dark clothing, the black text works best on light clothing.
NJGamer is a community built around avid gamers in New Jersey. From card games, board games, and role-playing games to collectible minature games and wargaming, NJGamer supports players and the stores they shop & game at. If you are looking for a calendar of local events, trying to find new gamers to play against or with in your favorite game or want to share & expand your interest in games, NJGamer is a good start.
So take your time, browse through our directory of stores, look at the types of events we organize and head over to our facebook group page to join up and meet your fellow gamers.
NJGamer tries to promote organized play for many different game systems, offering tournaments, big games, and player leagues. This keeps both the venues that offer us game space strong with new customers, and the player communities themselves strong with constant action and a stable of both regulars and new hobbyists to game with. Some of the games and conventions we have supported are listed below. For a complete listing of upcoming events, be sure to check our calendar.
At several of our host stores we have run Gamer Auctions. These auctions specialize in new and used games, miniatures, and related merchandise in an open bid format. Many times the host store will contribute discounted items still sealed in shrink wrap. Sellers bring in their own games and provide the auctioneers with a description and bid price. Buyers bid on items and pay the store fro their purchases. The stores then pay the sellers in store gift certificates.
For most purposes, you can contact the members of NJGamer through facebook. If you are looking for a game, posting on the group wall is a good place to start. This is often the best way to make sure there are players for you to game with if you have to drive long distance to get to a game store. For specific purposes, there are also the email addresses below.
events@njgamer.org is the central address for signing up for, volunteering for, requesting or contributing to any of the NJGamer events. If you have to cancel an event reservation, this is the address to send to. This address is also used if you are uncomfortable with the public aspects of facebook.
admin@njgamer.org is the catch-all address for any other issues with either the group or the technical aspects of the web site, newsletters, facebook applications or notification email.
The stores below are our frequent haunts, they offer great support for gamers from play area, terrain for wargames, regular event hosting and a terrific stock of the latest games, figures and gaming supplies. If you know of a store that is not on here, let us know.
